 The Friends of the Temple Public Library are requesting help from local Scouts to move books this Saturday at 10:00 at the library at Adams & 1st. This is in preparation for the Winter Book Sale used to raise funds for improvements to the library. About 500 boxes of books are stored in the basement and need to be moved to the 3rd floor. Dollies and carts are available, if Scouts don’t have their own. Scouts should meet in the basement near the set of double doors into the storage. Any amount of time a Scout can spare would be appreciated, so don’t hesitate to come while younger siblings go to the library with Mom or Dad. Depending on the number of workers, this can be finished in one to two hours.

FYI: The sale offers hardbacks for $2, paperbacks for $1, and children’s books half of that.

Thursday, Feb 25th 5:00 to 8:30 PM;
Friday, Feb 26th 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM;
Saturday, Feb 27th 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and
Sunday, Feb 28th 1:00 to 5:00 PM. |
