DISTINGUISHED CITIZEN AWARD & DINNER |

 The Longhorn Council will have their annual Distinguished Citizen Award Banquet on Thursday, August 5, at the Mayborn Convention Center. This year they are honoring Houston Astro player Craig Biggio. You can view and download the flyer and ticket information from the [Download Forms>General Docs] page.
Scouts that will be attending the banquet should wear their complete Scout uniform. Come early to find a good seat. Please let us know if you and your family are planning to attend.
They have requested an Eagle Scout from Troop 153 to give the invocation. Please give us a call of you are an Eagle Scout and would like to give the invocation. We can provide you with a written one or you can write your own. They would like to have a name by Friday so it can be included in the printed program. |
