[ UPDATED] We may need a couple more parents to assist with transportation.
Our Troop activity for August will be a trip to the Bob Bullock Museum in Austin on Saturday, August 21. We will meet at Oak Park Methodist Church and leave for Austin by 8:00 a.m. We plan to go to the IMAX movie Texas: The Big Picture at 10:00 a.m. After the movie, we will spend some time looking at the exhibits and other items in the museum. At approx. 12:00 pm. we will leave and stop at a Fast Food restaurant for lunch and then return to Temple. The admission prices and IMAX ticket info is as follows:
Museum Admission: Adults (18+) $7.00; Senior (65+) $6.00; Youth (5-17) $5.00; Child (3-4) $5.00
IMAX Theatre Tickets: Adult (19-64) $7.00; Senior (65+) $6.00; Youth (5-18) $5.00; Child (3-4) $5.00
Parking Fee $8.00*
*Note: The Troop will pay for the Parking fees for those assisting with the transportation. There is a parking garage at the museum. Don't forget to bring extra money for lunch ($10.00). We will have a sign-up sheet at the Troop meeting for those planning to attend. |
