VENTURING NEWS ARCHIVE
IT'S THAT TIME!
From The Crew AdvisorYes, it's that time. We need to get started. It is time to put the keys into the ignition and turn it! Our first crew meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 23 @ 6:45 pm. This will also serve as our Crew Leader election date. This date is also the first day of school for most of you so there should not be any conflicts with attending the meeting. Please keep in mind of our uniform policy at meetings and come prepared to discuss schedules and what you would like to do this Fall!

COLORADO CREW REMINDERS

Rocky Mountain High Adventure Base1.)  Colorado Health Forms are due next Monday, May 24th at the Troop's Court Of Honor. Some of you have already turned your forms in but are not providing a current copy of your health insurance card. Please make sure that both the Colorado Health Form and a copy of your insurance card are turned in Monday.

2.)  Adults going to Colorado: The following link is to the online training courses where you will find the Venturing Youth Protection course. You will need to create an online account with the "My Scouting" site but it should be very easy to do.

https://myscouting.scouting.org/

When completed I will need you to print or email me a copy of your card showing that you have taken the course which is required for our Colorado trip. If you have already completed the Venturing Youth Protection course please send me your information asap.

3.)  Sunday, June 13th @ 2pm - Colorado Information Party -  We will be meeting at either Schlotzky's or Starbucks in Temple to finalize ALL paperwork, pass out travel itineraries and collect travel money (gas, lodging, etc) which should not exceed $110 per person. At this time fuel cost is the variable that keeps us from setting a definite price.

IMPORTANT: Please take some to time to re-read the list of items RMHAB recommends you take for this trip in the 2010 Leaders Guide. This is a Venturing/High Adventure trip so you are ALL leaders and are responsible for the information in the guide.

And by the way, 31 MORE DAYS! Whoop - Whoop!
